Folks,
Can one of you take the measurements of the screen and more importantly the control board, and the position of the mounting screws? I'd like to find out if it can be fitted to the double din frame for the Lilliputs.

I have the capacitive panels, and you can just use cell phone gloves. My wife doe and they work just fine. BTW, I am in the murder mitten too, but I only need gloves for 2 weeks a year. You must be a girl! (JK, LOL)
I am done with the display I bought, so if you want to buy the whole thing let me know.
Here is a pic I took outside today. It was mostly cloudy, but the sun did pop out from time to time.
I did not remove the thin protective film from the touch screen so there is some glare from that.
The panel is on te seat of my vehicle, passenger side with the door open. The front of the vehicle was facing south, at about 5:00pm.
In other words, the LCD was facing what little sun there was.

Well, I didn't know there were "cell phone gloves", so that's kind of cool. I don't let my car warm up and I have a 1/2 hour commute every day so I usually wear driving gloves. I am a slight girl though
I just lost my DROID X and am now using a crappy 'ol Moto Q...so I won't need the cell phone gloves for that....
The shots of the screen out side look pretty good and I'd be interested in it.
Slightly off topic, but does anyone else have trouble in the cold with their screens? My 'ol sunlight readable Lilli is very "shaky" and dim below 40 degrees and requires about 10 min to warm up.
[/COLOR]IS your Lilli an LED back lit model, or the older CCFL?
If it is the LED, it should operate fine as long as the ambient temp. is above 20 F.
PM me if you want the display. If not, I am going to make an extension cable for it and fit it to a double DIN frame.

I will take measurements tomorrow. But, I did mention in this thread already that the display will fit a double DIN frame, or Lilli housing with an extension cable that will allow the controller to be centered on the back of the LCD.
Is there an input on the controller board to control the brightness of the backlight? Or would it be possible to do this..?
Yeah, I wonder if we have auto dim, auto on covered. I'd be interested in DVI as well.

Can you also check if the composite inputs are outswitching? (is this working for both inputs?)
And i'm interested to know if the screen can auto power on when a signal is sent to either composite or VGA.
Thanks!
