I know what I would get so I don't pay for it.
Yes they are more readable and it is not my like.
I know what we are talking about.
Regarding your issue with color shifts, is this evident only when starting Windows or when resuming from hibernate? Since your ASRock board has both HDMI and DVI, have you tried using a DVI to HDMI converter and run that instead? It might be that Windows is not playing well with HDMI.
Is it possible to hide all the OSD overlays and text? I'm very curious about this (especially during initial power on and when switching inputs).
And finally, is the capacitive option worth the extra $100?
Can somebody share the physical dimensions of the hdmi board? I asked the seller if there was a drawing and he responded he did not have one.
Also, can somebody chime in on how to take the touch panel off? I am using two screens for rear seat passengers and the touch screens won't be needed.
Fair enough, but i still cant even process the thought of spending $700 on a screen for my car. I spent less than that on a 30" dell for my PC lol. Anyway, can anyone direct me to power options for the screen?
Please use the "DVI" channel when you connecting to computer. The "HDMI" channel is special tune for camera use :)
regarding to the resolution, please try the powerstrip software and see if the problem solved.

6pin .5mm :
4pin .5mm (only needed with the resistive version) :
Here is the 8" versions of the cables
6 pin .5mm
I just ordered the 8" version cables and connectors since I wanted to make sure I had enough cable length and it ended up being just long enough.
I havnt tried hibernating it yet. But the color shift seems to have gone away on its own with the new motherboard drivers. I just ordered a DVI->HDMI converter (best buy wanted $40 for it, so I had to get it on newegg) so I can tell you if you can use DVI for it in a few days. The OSD is hidden when switching resolutions, but says "no signal" as its booting up before it recieves the HDMI imput when it gets into windows, but the DVI converter will probably fix this.
Little screen on the right was more $$$ than the laptop...
