Has bought, the second version of the complete set, and I confirm a matrix really transflective, isn't present what doubts. Tested on a shining sun, all very well is visible, even compared to the blackberry 8900 there too a transflective matrix. With quality of the monitor it is very happy.

So at best it's a partial transflective (transmissive with partial reflective properties). Not knocking the screen for what it is, but it isn't a full "transmissive/reflective (transflective) display.
This panel is not "partial reflective". it`s a newer technology call TMR, which boost the color performance, but keeps the sunlight / out-door ability

Actually, the real sunlight technology named "Reflective". As I know, Reflective has perfect sunlight capability, but its problem is not working good in low light. That is why "Transflective" came out as a solution, which improves the low light performance.

Nowadays, the color requirement for LCD is much higher than before, because more and more people using digital photos, video etc. You can see the different between TN, IPS and AMOLED. Although Transflective has better sun-light ability (still can`t beat Reflective), it has poor color performance. That is another reason TMR come out: it is sunlight readable, but improves a lot in color

either for Transflective or TMR, another crucial factor with sunlight capability is brightness. Those very expensive SUN-LIGHT screen, they are not just Transflective, but they also has 1000nits in brightness. This make it looks much better under directly sun light and not just "readable"

I think it would be great to keep the remote, especially for those having it mounted in a car with no access to the buttons

I'd vote for the remote too. But also for the vertical flip!
