    Also, please try 1280*720, that is a good resolution for this screen also, it provide better result. Keep in touch and have a nice weekend

    custom is custom, they can do what ever they want, we have no control at all. especially Brazil and Russia, so the express company charge more money for shipping package there

    Since you want t make this issue public, I will post my response to you again here:

    Beau,

    My apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused you.

    I paid extra to Derrick to have him ship you the controller directly in order to save you the added time it would
    have taken for the board to reach me, then ship the entire display to you.

    The added cost of buying another hdmi board instead of waiting for the warranty replacement on the defective board I had ate up any profit I was going to make by selling the display w/capacitive screen to you.

    Please understand, I know I made this decision, and the loss is on me. But, my intent was to keep you satisfied by not making you wait any longer for your display.

    However, how Derrick packed and sent the hdmi board to you is entirely up to him to explain. I have absolutely no control over how he packs items when he ships.
    (Let me tell you he is not the only China seller that packs items poorly.)

    I have forwarded your email to Derrick, as well as a message explaining how I paid him quite well to forward the hdmi board to you on my behalf. I also mentioned how disappointed I am in his poor performance.

    At this time, I can only hope that Derrick makes this right. He is the one to blame for any additional cost you may have incurred.
    He told me before I paid him that he had no problem drop shipping the board, and he would handle it properly.

    As a matter of record, tracking information indicates you received the hdmi board 48 hours after he dispatched, and it was a full 6 weeks before you brought this matter to my attention.

    Maybe "custom is custom", but you drop shipped the hdmi board to AUSTRALIA!! Hardly an inept country!!

    I have tested on more than 5 different PC's as I have told you many times. And yes you can write the eeprom with hardware or software Powerstrip can.The only time you can find a EDID is if you use the hdmi port, no VGA and looking on the board I dont even see a eeprom for it. There A eeprom for the DVI/HDMI port, which is Winbond's W25X40BV SPI serial flash memory 4mbit/512KB http://www.winbond-usa.com/NR/rdonly...V_W25X40BV.pdf

    Also you can change the quadro into a geforce and use the latest drivers with a little INF mod

    My apologies, i thought that would be the case. Unfortunately i didnt receive the email, possibly an error or email was incorrect but i havent received one (did you send it to the gmail address, or the paypal email?) If you replied to the email i sent you I should have received it. I thought that i would need to refer to Derrick.

    Thank you for clearing this up and letting me know, ill try and find the email but at least i have a reply now.

    When I mentioned Brazil and Russia, just for samples. they are not the only 2 countries has tough custom to deal with. We always learn their ways and try to avoid problems. Anyway, we ship all over the world, not just screens, lot of other equipment like server and workstation. Also, never have problem with AUSTRALIA.

    I always be very polite to customer or business partner. But your language sounds not right to me, sorry.

    After double check your order. I did marked a RED URGENT tag on your order, as priority, to make it ship out ASAP. I was trying to help. Maybe this cause the packing problem? I don`t know. but for this screen kit, we have box for it and I have not received any complaint like this.

    Anyway, notice sent out, our warehouse acknowledged about this and should not happen again.

    We did tested this board with ATI, intel and nVidia video card, all recent models. With the right driver which you can add your own resolution, you always can get 800*480. (Intel need mod driver to get 800*480). The problem is not from the board, 800*480 resolution is not standard, it needs special work, which is well known all over the internet. You can search on Google.

    Anyway, we will send you a replacement board with no charge, hope it will solve the issue. If the problem keep still, I think you should try more video cards. Keep in touch and take care

    PS: if you don`t believe us can get 800*480, we can send you more screen shot or photos.
