My Bybyte frame doesn't quite fit right, you can see the white borders of the screen, has anyone else had an issue with this and can suggest possibly another bezel to use with it?

I suggest you put some black type around the border of the screen before install to frame. this will make it looks better

I have the same issue using the mybimmer.net bezel... I was thinking that I may use electrical tape or something on the edges or use bondo to make the bezel opening smaller.

Not sure why you have white borders. The Samsung LCD fits in the Bybyte frame ( with stock or capacitive touch, either version of the frame). All you should have to do is trim about 3/16th of an inch on the IR hole side of the frame's opening to allow the full viewable area to show. I covered this a while back in the thread.

Hi,

I have 2 problems:

1. My touch screen does not work. I tried the device when I bought it and it worked. Now (1.5 months later), I tried it again and it doesn't work. My pc shows the usb device is not recognized and then it shows unknown device. Any ideas?

2. My controller board and bottom of my lcd gets very hot. Anyone else having this issue?

Any advice would be appreciated

yeh no toubles with the bybyte frame, just work down one side about 3mm and it shows the full screen. The main board on the other hand is another issue. You need to be a little creative to make a place to mount the board. Back earlier tft showed how to fit it and the main board, but this was the non-hdmi board. the hdmi one needs to be mounted differently and has the inputs from the screen in different locations. not as simple.
