What you mean? These photos were done by our tech guy in Asia. We just connected it to a PC, and set to 800*480 by VGA port. You can see the VGA cable attach with the board in the download photos. Let me know if you need any other photos. I will ask my colleague to get more for you.

nothing needs to setup with the monitor end. Just turn on and switch to VGA channel.

its easy to fake photos.I want to see someone hooking up the VGA to a computer and setting this to 800x480.Since I have tried everything from many different video cards to computers and from many different drivers old to latest. He could have the LCD hooked up to something else which you cant tell in the photos with the close-ups.

At what point do you just concede the fact the monitor can do 800x480? Would a fake chinese ripoff company even bother doing what he has already done? Its a quite well known concept around here that with some video cards it is impossible to achieve the resolution. I seriously don't understand what you are trying to get done here. If he posts your video, then what? Are you going to buy another? Are you going to be suddenly satisfied? There's no end to this.

Many many thanks for your trust and supporting

Feels like kev711 never trust people...video file is much bigger then photo and take times to transport. Anyway, we will try our best to see if we can post a video here, which be a proof to end this arguing. Enjoy and have a wonderful night for everyone!

This monitor looks like a great deal (despite the price hike on ebay) I really want to use this in my car but I have a question..

    Quoted from your ebay listing:
"Industrial Grade Operational Temperature: -20C to 60C"

    Quoted from wiki: (operating temperatures)
    Commercial grade: 0 C to 70 C (sometimes −10 C to 70 C)
    Industrial grade: −40 C to 85 C (sometimes −25 C to 85 C)
    Military grade: −55 C to 125 C (sometimes -65 C to 175 C)

From what I have gatherd, a device that is suitable for in-car use should be able to operate at "industrial grade" temperatures.

Starage temperatures a higher though. Can you tell us whether this was a misprint or a deception?

Maybe "industrial" in China means "commercial" just like "OEM/Original" means "looks like OEM/original".

    thanx

When it can do what it is advertised to do DOT for DOT 800x480 resolution. This has had problems since he first started selling them in fact if you look at the ebay listings he still shows pictures of it not 800x480 because the right side of the screen is cut off.So I know I'm not wrong when I buy a monitor I expect to get what I paid for why settle for less. You would take anything back to the store if it didn't work as advertised.

Trust has nothing to do with it.What I do trust is what I can see in front of my face, which is what I showed in my video which is not pixel perfect. Also as I have told you before about my LCD it was damaged in the back during shipping but I didn't ask for a replacement seeing how it shouldn't have any effect on the display.Name: DSC00639 (Medium).JPG

He's done everything you've asked him. If your video card doesn't support it then pick a resolution that does work and quit *****ing.

I think there is a misunderstanding...The HDMI board never has the cut off problem. Those photos are from the previous VGA only board, people from this forum should familiar about these. We still keep them in the listing, just for showing the color performance of this panel.

Anyway, we will try to get the video for you. Hope that will prove, we are not lying to you.

This scratch is on the bad cover, won`t do anything harm to the LCD. So no worries.
