I tried the drivers on a Johnstown board (D945GSEJT) in XP and 7. No go for 800 x 480.

I thought I saw a green board too, but when I went back to check the pic was gone. Seems they are hosted on www.arvinlin.com, so maybe it was replaced?

I did find some of the green boards pics on the latest ebay lisitng. Also, notice the screen shot showing 1280 x 720 res. That was the same res. I was able to obtain with Win7.
Even using the drivers from cartft, 800x480 was a no go.

The Green board in the first 3 photos are for another MID project, not for this HDMI board. We just use it to show how this screen works when under sunlight

The 4th photo is showing, the NEW HDMI board not just support 800*480, also can do 1280*720. You can find another photo showing 1920*1080 too.

We have another Android MID developing for another company, we may turn it to a 2 din case device later. actually, we also a MID solution developer. Can build device from sketch to actual product base on customer`s requirement. Like handheld barcode scanner with 3G/WIFI capability, healthy monitor products(android base). Since all project are base on the same screen, so you may see lots of different boards in our future listing. Just focus on the screen performance and the explanation beside it

Thanks for the tips on those Intel drivers, I was on the verge of ordering one but will think again now that I know the drivers don't work. Has anyone spoken to cartft about that?

    Cheers!

Hi, I got a question to the LCD Panel. I read to site 45 but I still haven't a answer to my question yet.

I got the CTF400-M Monitor but every time the sun shines on it I can't see anything and that freaks me out! So I'm thinking about buying a new monitor.
Does anybody know for sure that this monitor is better if sun shines on it?

If anyone has problems with the touch screen not working add tape to the back of the ribbon connector to add more force against the pins.

    Excellent support Derrick. Really appreciated!

Now that some solution is in sight for supporting 800x480 natively for most video cards, will this solution be transitioned into production version or will we have to take care of the reprogramming part ourselves?

If we need to load the custom BIOS ourselves, please explain the procedure. Like me, I'm sure there are many folks here who has access to soldering stations, EEPROM programmers and the such.
