"Transflective" LCD panel with res touch+controler for $101+$36 S+H

Anybody ever try fitting one of these in a bybyte BBN or BBX-1 case? Will the screw holes on the controller line up? This panel is looking like a winner over the lilliputs...

I've talked to derrick.ny numerous times through eBay. My opinion is based on my experience. I requested a refund but he insisted I try out a replacement. I then offered to purchase their AC adapter since my adapter could've potentially been the issue. He said that the adapter would be in the replacement package. No adapter. So I finally found a 12vdc barrel plug coax power cable in town and I'm running into the same issue with this one. I press the power button and after 7 sec the green LED switches to the red LED and begins flashing. The screen itself never lights up or displays anything. I'm not saying he doesn't try to help, but my purchase does not work. After my last post in this thread, the display was operational that one time. I don't have anymore ideas and the screen is the last part of my install. I finished everything else 3 months ago.

I had a similar issue when I first got mine. The screen would never even have any power and the LEDs would do some weird flashing. Turns out that I had the connections from the LCD to the control board upside down. Those cables only have contacts on one side and I had them the wrong way so they were essentially not even plugged in. As soon as I flipped the power one, the back light turned and it worked perfectly!

Not sure you are having the same issue but it sounds eerily familiar...

I'll try it again. Could you do a multimeter test on your power adapter and tell me the voltage and current?

Could you tell me your ebay ID? so I can find out what happen to the replacement kit. This monitor can accept input volt between 8~20v, but needs to be 2A. this is very important or you can not turn the screen on.

Also, what board did you get? blue or green? they have slight different in connection. LiquidWater is right(thanks!), If you put the cable up side down, the monitor can not turn on also

Derrick wants too much for just the controller and since I have the LCD's it does not make sense to buy the entire display.

If you want one, you can have the HDMI board sent directly to me from Derrick (others have done this and it actually saves them the extra shipping costs).

How much is this setup? I would possibly be interested in this setup (This is a repost I think you guys missed my question lol)
