Check the pin-hole beside this 2-pin connector, that is another channel if you need stereo, but you need to do a little modify to connect.

Radioshack sells them. Fits perfect with the screen, 12V and 2A. I'm planning to integrate this with the android touch module from custom gadz.

Thanks to the people who suggested flipping the cable. I got it wrong the first time. Also, the pictures posted in the ebay post were very helpful for setting up the connections.

My only question is, is there anyway I can get extensions for the ribbon cables? I am planning on integrating this with a flipout unit but the board wont' fit nicely.....

I don't want to run with an inverter or a cigarette lighter adapter. Would this adapter be easy to cut up and wire directly into the car battery for power?

Yes, just find a DC power source from your car and you should be fine. If you use AC, then it won`t work

This is still a project, just the first step now. But we should be able the sell the case with screen alone, with no PC components, when it become available.

Now we need is everybody`s valuable opinions. Like the HDMI kit, this is another team work. Of course, the mp3car discount will always there

I think it looks fantastic as is, Love the card reader on the front, the lip around the edge may be a little deep but it is tapered and what not so maybe not that big of a deal? I have to say I like it a lot more then the bybyte enclosure. How deep is it? And seriously how long before these would be available do you think?

Any idea about the best dims? like how deep it should be? since it is still under developing, everything is possible now. Should be available in 3 months, but just an estimate.
