Oh yes it's worth it. Also is there a timeframe on the double din version? That plus capacitive touch is exactly what I'm after.

I have tried to read through this thread and a few others to figure this out.
Hoping to get an answer if the Element 7" Touchscreen Display:

Would need an ADD-ON adapter to work with the X2Module for Android. I just didn't seem to be able to find a straight answer. I may want to add a full car pc to the screen later on, not just my phone if that makes a difference.
Oops typed that up in the wrong thread, well same question applies if anyone knows. Here is the Android module thread: http://www.mp3car.com/android/149669...mirroring.html

Any questions, please email to derrick.ny@gmail.com :)
We never try the X2Module. Our screen kit support HDMI signal. I think only problem can have is the touch controller. Maybe you should buy the overlay touch screen X2Module provide? We can remove the resistive touch for you![]()

Ya my android supports HDMI out, so I already worked out that compatibility, it was the type of cable that the touch input is transferred back to the controller board that I was questioning. Here is their photo.
I don't wanna order an extra resistive touch, if the little 'type a' OEM Add-on cable will work to integrate the bluetooth module with the touch screen. It appears the touch is driven from the 'type a' cable in the photos.
Or does anyone know if there was a multitouch capacitive overlay that worked with the X2Module available? That would be ideal, although from what I'm reading hard to come by at the moment. I see 8838 is talking about having one in a month or so. I guess I could be patient. =/ lol

USB HID confirmed. We have 7 touch key in the left side, 4 of them can be customize. other 3 are relate to sound control.

Wow been a while since I checked in here, looks like this thing is progressing well.
not sure what the prices are up to but $60 for capacitive touch sounds reasonable to me
That bezel might almost be useful too!
