I made a mistake yesterday. the "button" beside the SD slot, actually it is a HEADPHONE jack. It can not be centered because it already touch the edge of the screen![]()

Why a headphone jack?
For the LED's can you do a color changing LED so we can make it match our interior lights? red/blue/green/white. Also please don't make them TOO bright! Or at least make it so they dim with the display or something.
I quickly scanned through this. But in a response to this question, I would think most people are running a CarPC software that is more finger friends when actually driving. Not being able to reach the corners when running the bare OS shouldn't be a problem if people are using portable keyboard/mouse combo. Cause let's face it, if you are using the bare OS in your car, you are probably developing something for it to work better and you are going to want a keyboard/mouse. A stylus should be used in this design by default.
I think a flush design would have been better, but I'm sure that was answered somewhere in this monstrous thread.
here is the new design about the auto dims
Once the headlight trigger (12V) get signal, it will auto reduce to 60% brightness. When you touch any button, it will temporary increase to full brightness. After your finger left the buttons, 2 secs, it will reduce back to 60%.
any opinions?
