I have a new RR application for home use on a win7 pc. I have a new Lilliput 869GLC/T. Basically, what the title says. Can a system be woken from sleep by touching the panel? I have tried a few quick things. I did not allow the PC to shutdown power to the device to "save power". I allowed all according parameters in the Device Manager to wake the PC. Is this possible?

All depends on whether that USB touchscreen can be set for mouse emulation with regards to the waking bit.
Maybe some updated drivers might help.
I can confirm that my xenarc using touch kit drivers do wake the computer from hybrid sleep, always did ( win7 32bit). I don't recall if it does wake from hibernate, probably that too.

Huh...I see "USB Touchscreen Device" in list of devices that can wake the computer. The only thing I can think is when it goes to hybrid sleep the Lilliput doesn't detect video signal and goes into it's own low power state. The drivers are "egalax". My older lilli came with Touchkit UI. The egalax website is un reachable .TW site. Just times out. I'll have to tinker with it more. Thanks for the info.
Wellllllllll...........I feel like an idiot. Changed from Hybrid sleep to regualr sleep and boom, resuming touch of the screen. I really didn't expect hybrid vs sleep would cause the issue but it did. Win7 32bit ultimate. Im up and resuming well, thanks guys.
