Thread: Mini Touch 700 doing my head in! Stupid 800x480

Sorry I didnt follow the thread after I posted. Just found it again after a search for "800x480". I have no screen is my car right now as im working on a new bezel for my MiniTouch, so I wouldnt be able to get powerstrip on there for you. I have been listening to the same playlist for the past week, lol. But dont feel bad, im in the same boat now as im working on my new setup which is a Intel D510MO and I cant get 800x480 running on the MiniTouch either. Guess my D945GCLF was just ready outta the box.

Anyone else have any luck with Intel D510MO and a MiniTouch?

All is cool, i gave up in the end and i run it at 800x600!! So much for a 800x480 huh?

Would of been nice to run it at its native resolution, but after ripping my hair out and leaving it sit on my bench for 2 weeks whilst i pondered solutions i gave up and settled for 800x600.

i run it in Bybyte double din enclosure with an Asrock E350M1-USB3 Mini itx board and it runs great! (the usb3 on this board is complete rubbish and is disabled!)

I just wish the LCD had more compatibility with onboard graphic chipsets and stored the correct data in the EDED or whatever its called! (the ROM with built in timings on the LCD board)

Next time the enclosures out of the car im going to try it on a few more chipsets that i've acquired!!

I have that same board and same screen. I had to go into the catalyst control center to set the resolution to 800x480. Nothing else would set it. Got to ati's website and download their driver finder tool. Let it run and install the latest drivers. When it is done go into the catalyst control center and change the settings there. Hope this works.

will try with the latest catalyst, but i have my doubts! to be honest i suspect its something in the LCD driver board BIOS or something along those lines thats preventing it!
