Computer won't read my Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T-HB-RV

I have the 5 wire version and can not get the computer to read the usb to get the touch working, I've installed the drivers on 2 different computers and it doesn't even register. I get video just fine, just no touch.

Any info would be great

which cables are you using?

have you tried checking the device manager to see if it shows up?

The VGA cables that came with it. I checked the device manager and it shows up. At first it showed up but had an error 10 (win XP pro sp3) but now it's gone and still not working.

Now, when I go to calibrate it, it gets 2 bars on the "reading parameters" pop up and does nothing.
Does the touch screen need to be recognized as monitor 1?

If I use the ps2 controller it let's me see the calibrate screen. But when I use the USB controller, no calibrate screen.

I had that problem on a Seform (Lilliput clone) and it turned out to be the USB interface card connector on the screen mainboard was "loose" such that the plastic moulding around the pins of the connector had moved to stop the connector plug touching the connector pins. The result was that the USB touchpanel interface card was not powered and not seen by the PC.
Have you pulled the screen apart to refit it to another mounting ? Maybe when you plugged it all back together the USB interface card connector has not made the connection properly.

Yes it's mounted in a custom bezel. I will check that when I get a chance.

So the wire for the resistive touch was flipped the wrong way. Took me an hour and a half of disassembly of my car to find out it was a 1 minute fix. Gotta love custom installs. Lol
