I've been trying to make a daylight usable HUD for quite some time now.

I'm using a "beam splitter" which is a special kind of glass that is reflective and transmissive at the same time. If you've ever seen a teleprompter, you've seen what I have.

I purchased an Aaxa L1 v2 laser pico projector because it doesn't require focusing. While this is true, it's also nowhere near bright enough to use under most any conditions! Also, the laser projector doesn't project against the glass at all.

Back to square one.

I was wondering if I can instead use an extremely high brightness LCD to reflect against the teleprompter glass. Has anyone tried this? Has anyone seen a 1000+ NIT LCD anywhere? Also I would need to somehow mirror the image so it appears correctly when reflected.

Thanks
