I'm sure some of you have dealt with this, how did you address the issue?

I had the same issue - I shaved off part of the plastic piece where the IR receiver gets placed - it was squeezed in tight between the screen and the enclosure. I also loosened the mounting screws until the "extra finger" effect went away. The screws kept falling out so eventually I just held each of the corners of the H bracket down and filled the gap between the corner and the hole in the enclosure with hot glue. Worked perfectly

I use a strip of double-sided 3M foam tape its fairly thin and adds just that soft gap the touch panel needed also helps hold it in there too! hope this helps SNO

the frame is pinching the screen, causing the 'finger presses'. you need to loosen the screen mounting bracket just a hair.
