Thread: what do i look for when purchasing a decent lcd, that i can use on carputer?

    oh ok, right on

    Can i see some examples of where people have mounted there Xenarc 7" touchscreen? I would like to attempt to roof mount it but dont know how hard it will be. Has anyone attempted this?

    Many people have posted installs with that screen, check out the "show off your project" forum to get some good looks, or do a search for xenarc or 7 inch LCD and youll get many posts.

    I was doing some searching and came across the old thread for the TM-701, with big clear pictures of the quality in windows.
    here it is

    as you can see, its pretty good

    thanks that helped alot! i want to get one, do you recommend installing the touch screen yourself or buying it installed for $20 more?

    installed, because digitalww has a warranty

    If you install it and **** up then you're screwed, it's worth $20
