    VGA vs. DVI input?

Given a monitor and motherboard with both VGA and DVI connections, which is most desirable in a car pc setup?

The two criteria that I'm thinking about are:
    1. Susceptibility to interference, especially over some distance when the PC is located somewhere like a trunk.
    2. Cable size, for cable routing.

DVI all the way. cable size is about equal. DVI removes ghosting and provides better color depth on our little 7" screens.

Would you go so far as to say you'd avoid using a motherboard without DVI?
