The price was set at $240 shipped but I have sold-out. My next shipment is coming next week and the price will be $230 shipped for mp3car members. These units are a little different: Color - Black, LCD panel - Sharp (instead of Panasonic). I have not seen these yet but the manufacturer swears that the quality is better. I will test them and will post the details when I get them.

I'd be wary of the panel change as the Panasonic one is the same as the Xenarc VGA screen so has a native resolution of 800*RGB*480. IF the Sharp one is a std 460*rgb*234 panel then its not gonna be better IMHO.

Any chance you have one of the old batch left that you can do a side by side comparision with??

I don't have any of the specs yet but I will try to get a hold of a data sheet or some more details. The manufacturer says that it is better. We'll have to wait and see.

Side by side pics will be the first thing I do.

    Stay tuned

Definitely order with the touchscreen installed if you want the touchscreen.. getting the internal USB cable to fold correctly when the screen is in-dash is very annoying! It can get caught on the latch, inthe spring, in the gears, behind the slide tray.. and there's no easy way to control where it folds to.

Yes post pics. I have the money ready. The Sharp panel in my DSCustoms screen was nice. So it shouldn't be that bad, right?
