Welcome to the forums!
First thing you should learn is a search button (top - right corner), it is your best friend.
From your requirements it sounds like you need a 7" VGA LCD (xenarc) but it is about twice your budget at $400. You will have to add some $ or look into a composite LCD monitor.
Brightness - has to be at least 250 nits to be daylight viewable.
Text - what text are you planning on reading? There are several different ways to go around this issue:
1. Get a VGA LCD
2. Increase font size in windows (composite LCD)
3. Use an interface like MediaEngine
4. If you really need to read a lot - wait till you get home
Do a search on these LCDs and decide for yourself:
7” TM-701L
7” TM-7002S
7” GA700YYV or DS700YYV or 700TSV
Additional search topics:
VGA LCD
Composite LCD
Media Engine
This should last you a couple of days and give you a lot of ideas.

I have searched the forum, but i thought id repost to have any new hardware or new people add there opinion. The monitors you suggested look really cool, but im looking for something a little cheaper... Thanks!
