There is a low budget LCD known as the MINI TOUCH 695 on Mo-Co website. I think it's kind of like the Mini Touch 700 but with a 6.95 height instead of 7' includes a 400nit LCD for a reasonable price.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this and how is it compare to the 700. I am kind of running out of room when putting a full 7' double din screen.
Any help would be appriciated.
ps. yes i am new but I have been wondering around this website for a while

Arlind86 did you ever get one of these or did you end up going a different route?
tft_lcd_org, did you ever get someone to donate one? lol
Anyone have any experience with these?
I am looking at one of these too, there seems to be a lot of negative feedback on the 700 about the touch screen not working properly. Almost sounds like the screen doesn't fit into it's enclosure properly, I'm wondering if that's an issue with this one???
No, I have not had one in yet to check out. I have used the same LCD panel with different controllers before. The LCD is OK, not high end but a decent panel for a low cost display.
It has an LED backlight, although by now this is pretty much standard on 7" monitors.
I have samples of capacitive 6.95" touch panels on order that should be in my shop in 2 weeks. They are an exact fit for the LCD found in the mini 6.95 and would ease any touch concerns.
