    Extending a labtops video cable

    I am considering attempting to keep the stock screen from my netbook in my netbook car project.
    I want to separate the LCD panel from the computer are there any cable extenders for the type of connection a labtop screen uses?

    What's a labtop?

    Seriously though this has been covered many, many, many times. Search for LVDS Cable, LCD Conversion, LAPTOP LCD Controller, ETC.

    send the cable or the whole unit to motor city tech and have them make you a new cable. they do excelent work and very afordable. just had a custom lvds cable made and it was only 55$ thats your best bet.
