My 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT:
"The Project That Never Ends"
more projects then time!
Led Skyline Tail Lights--100%
High Power Led Reverse Lights--100%
Led third brake light--100%
Led front turn signals--0%
HID retro--100%
But not in a transflective antiglare setup right?
Transflective/Optical bond screen as viewed from roughly the same angle as the sun hitting it:
Off-angle:
Unfortunately it is these latter angles that I am more likely to enounter in the car.
VegasGuy, any chance you can get some photos from two similar angles?

I'll try this week, although its not going to be as extreame as that. Basically through the driver or passenger front side, so maybe 15 degrees angle at most. My rear passenger windows are heavily tinted, and it's a truck with a shell, so no light from the rear at all. Keep in mind of course, that the images above are over-bright, since the camera doesn't cope with the enormous differences in brightness as well as your eyes do. But that image is directly comparable to my old Lilliput screen. The new one just doesn't reflect anywhere near that kind of light. As I said, I've yet to find an angle or sun position where the smallest print on the screen wasn't completely readable.
Remember though, that the screens shown in my picture are not touchscreens, so they don't have that overlay. That could make a differnece, but how much I can't say.
Here's another fairly close angle shot. You can see how "washed out" the dash surround is, so there's a LOT of glare in this image. The lower right corner of the screen is typical of what I would call the worst glare I see on this unit.
