Pc output to Lcd

Hi all im new!!!!!!

So im standing at the front of the class to say hi!!

And to ask a question as well.......i wish to output from my onboard gfx on my motherboard to a lcd screen/touchscreen..Im seeing lots of mentions about TV out....am i right in thinking i cant get a lcd screen like 10.4 that has a vga in?

i second the motion presented by freestyler. Use the search feature, upper right hand corner of the forum. This topic has been pounded on. Do some more reading.

ok so i guess the vga out on the pc goes to the lcd controller which rewires and converts signal into something the lcd understands.........

So what does the touchscreen overlay controller plug into on the pc?
