The USB cable looks like it has a micro JST connector like this one: EBAY ITEM 181032597288
This company makes most of the controllers for those ebay touchscreen kits, so their drivers might work:

So a while back (a couple years maybe) when I first started getting into this I ordered a 7" touchscreen overlay kit as a way to get started tinkering on the cheap for my display. I'm finally putting it together and have figured out way after the fact that they left out two crucial cables, and I'm having trouble finding a place to order them without just ordering a new controller.
I also need to drivers for it, as my kit is missing the disc too.
Here is one of them that I need, so there is a solution.

The other is this one, but this site is in the UK (and doesn't even ship to US).

So I guess really I just need a source for the second one. I would even be fine with just the connector for the controller and I could make the USB cable.

The ebay link didn't work, but from searching micro JST connector I found it.

After sorting through digikey I finally found it through there for pretty cheap. I'm going to try that and see if it works, if not I'll order the connector and build one but I should be fine. Even if it's the wrong pin out I can re-pin the connector easily.

I had found it listed on so many touch controller kits, but they all used different part numbers that didn't transfer over and never called the connectors any kind of standard name. This should have been easy, but took a lot of digging.
I went through it several weeks ago when I was trying to find those micro JST connectors for my touchscreen, not knowing what they were called. I also had trouble with the motherboard header pins and connectors until I found they were called 2.54mm Dupont connectors. I ended up ordering a special dupont pin crimper so I could make up my own cables, and found that it also crimps micro JST pins too.
Well the connector on the digikey cable is the wrong one. It looks remarkably similar in the pictures but is slightly larger than the JST. The quest is back on, but I do know it's a micro JST from you guys so that is quite helpful. Worst case I'll build my own cable.
