Power Lilliput monitor with usb

I had a carpc install and have since switched to a tablet install, but i do have this Lilliput monitor left over. I would like to mount this inside of a computer case i have and was wondering if there was a way i could take the existing power cable for the monitor and solder it to a usb cable for power?

If not is there a way to do it on one of the 12 volt rails?

I was looking through the forums and could find anything on powering one with usb.

Can't from USB, as USB can only provide 5v.
Tap into a HDD molex for 12v.

or you can connect it to plain-ole automotive power off the main battery to get it to work.

If you are mounting it in the computer case, tap the 12v rail of your computer power supply.
