    I'm using a sapphire pure mini E350 mobo, it's a build in AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics card, HDMI/DVI/VGA output. I initially didn't have the ATI driver and was using just a standard windows driver from some windows update and all was working fine on a lilliput monitor. Now, come to think about it, I should try reconnecting my lilliput. If that monitor doesn't work either then my problem is likely from the PC.
    Fuchengwu, when you say driver board, you mean the monitor driver board?

    Sorry, I should have been more specific. Initially I was running with a basic driver, but since the new monitor isn't working with HDMI, I've installed the ATI driver & catalyst software. Still not working on HDMI.

    CHALK ELEC MULTI TOUCH input for Galaxy Note2/3

    This is likely because either your Note 3 and Note Pro doesn't have the proper .idc file, or the kernel on either of these devices doesn't have MT_CLS_DEFAULT enabled for the Chalk-Screens in the kernel (with an entry like this in drivers/hid/hid-multitouch.c

    { .driver_data = MT_CLS_DEFAULT,

    and in drivers/hid/hid-ids.h :

    #define USB_VENDOR_ID_MICROCHIP 0x04d8

    If that's the case, you'll have to find the kernel sources from each of these products, and recompile using the same methods I mentioned for the Odroid (except for Samsung devices). I'm not a kernel expert... you may need to do some hunting to find the right sources. Also, check out the Odroid Magazine February edition for a tutorial on how to compile the kernel for added touchscreens.
    Check the .idc files first in /system/usr/idc and go from there.

    Let us know how this works out.
    I Focused,
    It seems that I have not follow your instructions.

    I would start from begining.
    * I have rooted my second smartphone Galaxy Note 2 (I don't want to root my note 3 right now)
    * I installed "Root Browser"
    * I am looking for such a folder in phone : "...drivers/hid/..." and do not find it.
    ____* but I found system/usr/idc and inside there are 5 files:
    _______* melfas_ts.idc
    _______* qwerty.idc
    _______* querty2.idc
    _______* sec_e-pen.idc
    _______* sec_touchscreen.idc

    Am in in the good way?
    thank you.

    Turns out the problem with my HDMI was the cable. Was using a 15', but when I connected a small 1.5' all worked fine. I'll shop around for a better quality 15' cable now

    On another topic, I read that some used a 10" dell capacitive monitor and pair it with one of chinatobby's driver board. Is it possible to know exactly which driver board was used, as well as how it was wired in the back from the dell monitor? I'd like to replicate exactly what was done here using a 10" monitor while being able to have reverse camera and HDMI to my PC. As described on page 109.

    Some pictures of the driver board / usb to the monitor would help...

    Wondering would one of the chinatoby driver boards power the chalk eleck panels? I would like a reverse trigger on a 7 inch panel was going to mix and match but can find a touch overlay(usb) that will work with android.

    Sort of will.chalks new screens have the driver board and the usb touch board as a all in one fitted to the back of the access the lcd screen interface you will need to cut away some of the board connector,,,or if you get really lucky you might be able to swing chalks driver board out the way just enough to stil keep the touch screen connected but still access the lcd inerface with the chinatobby driverboard..

    Camo.b, ya, just the generic firmware. I followed the directions on Odroid Magazine February Edition. and also the Odroid Forum. To save some lsusb-ing, the Black Frame 7" Chalk Screen is;
    Single Touch: 04d8:f723
    Multitouch: 04d8:f724

    I did things just a tiny bit differently than these guides;

    First I downloaded the source from hardkernel's github (3.0.y-android).

    I made the revisions to hid-ids.h and hid-multitouch.c as described in the magazine. But I didn't use one of the configs described in the odroid forum;

    I ran make ARCH=arm odroidu_android_emmc_defconfig(or the closest thing to what I had), and then ran make ARCH=arm menuconfig and then made the changes in menuconfig as described in the magazine. After this I followed the remainder of the forum and it all worked... The second time... Make a backup of your OS/SD Card, etc. Luckily I had made a backup halfway through and just rsynced my data partition and SD Card partition when I got the kernel working.

    Then made the .idc file, and it worked.

    The ambient light sensor doesn't need any drivers, works out of the box once the firmware has been loaded.
    Thanks dude, this really helped me configure my multitouch and odroid
