Do anyone know where can i find usb controller for its touch panel?
I'm highly optimistic. This looks like they're pulling the same screens that the tablets use from the factory and selling them to us with a HDMI input conversion. We've been wondering where all the great screens that the tablet market gets are, and maybe this is a good source.
Is there another good site for comparing screens that isn't riddled with spy/malware? I have good AV software, but still avoid places like that just in case.
Computer is in the car, but in a very "raw" install right now.

I just purchased an 8" screen kit from these guys similar to that, however mine has a 4 wire resistive touchscreen, and they provided a USB controller.
They have provided no imformation whatsoever on that touchscreen so it's anyones guess as how to interface it. You would have to contact them and inquire.
Some links added by the forum, I did not add them, they are not necessarily representative of my thoughts or opinions. Links may have been edited in without my permission.
Some things came up and My funds dried up before i could get the chinatobby screen.still very keen to try a few out.but its going to have to wait for a month or so now.the 10.1 cap screen that they sell could be good but it requires a specific screen res 1280 x somthing...in running a atom dual core so i need to keep the res fairly low and the 7' will do everything up to full hd.
Any one got any ideas on a rear veiw cam switch for the 7' ?
I'm pretty sure the Chinatobby 7" also has the rear view video switch, it's just a solder pad on the backside of the board, same board i got with my 8":
So you solder a wire from your car's reverese signal +12v, and it switches from AV1 to AV2 automatically. I have not tested mine yet, still on the bench in the garage.

Rray did you order the 7' cap screens also? I was more thinking about those ones as they aparantly they have the hdmi/usb 'intergrated' into the lcd's board.
Yes I have this thread's 7" open frame monitor on order. I don't know what to do about reverse camera for it, but it would be easy to switch using a SPDT relay powered by the reverse wire.
