Is Chinatoby the person in the original link?

I do need a 10" screen and the one he has available looks to be the right size so I am patiently waiting to see how it works out.

Well I got an email response with my tracking number, which just shows "Origin post is preparing shipment." I hope that means the screen is actually at their post office getting ready to ship out.

At least the package supposedly exists. I was getting worried that it was a scam for a moment there.
Computer is in the car, but in a very "raw" install right now.

    From the product page:

"mini USB connector for touchscreen with dual HID - driver-less single touch, and multi-touch with additional driver"

Does anyone have firm information on how the touch screen will work on a Win7/8 system? Any info on the "additional driver"

I would buy a few myself, but the page shows OOS.

FockMasterDan Did you order the open frame or the tablet bezel?

I decided to go big or go home, so I have the 10" on the way which only came with the bezel. I may dissasemble on arrival though.

Wow I'm envious...I really wanted the 10 but I wasn't sure if I could fit it...now I think I can...if the 7 gets shipped and works well I might have to order the 10 aswell.

I was where you were, and decided just to go for it. I'm going to make a custom dash piece anyways.

My screen is on my way in the states now, so I should have it soon!

Just showed up today! I'm sitting here on my desk trying to set it up with my daily use laptop just for testing. I will post a much more thorough update once I have gotten it working and had the chance to play around with it.
