MY 7" display not showing screen

I have a 7" AMS Impex screen. Actually when i connect it, it gets the power but no screen appears. I have been told it should have a blue screen when power is on. But no screen comes. Just a green light appears. Here are some pics to clarify

The only thing mine shows is a black screen and a no signal message...on some you can turn off the blue screen...The blue screen is super bright at night and I can't imagine anyone not disabling it

Thnx. My MOBO is a gigabyte e350n. Honestly i bought a used one. The seller said that a blue screen should come at the start when it recieves power then when it has some input it would work. I also tested it with my pc. but still its not working only power light is on. The screen has VGA & HDMi input.

If u are telling to press the power button when green light is on then i have already done it. Also tried to turn on with remote.

Is there any thing else that i can check personally in lcd or control board or front panel.

Sounds like the cold cathode could be shot. Thats the thing that lights up the screen. to test go into a very dark room and turn it on. Look closely, do you see anything?

Can u throw some more lights on cold cathode? What will i observe in a dark room I don't understand? How will i repair it?I think blue light is no glowing in panel so it might be the logic board

Can nyone suggest how can i chk the logic board using multimeter or ny other tool which could help me.

    OK RULES,
I think i see from the last picture whats going on. Look at the blue circuit board. It looks like a liquid was spilled on it. I see lots of residue consistent with a spill of some kind. Get some rubbing alcohol , the more pure the better. I like to use the %90 i think it is. take some Q-tips and dip them in the alcohol and clean that mess up. Make sure there is no oxidation between any of the connections. Also check the green board as well, from both sides as well. Let me know how you make out.
