Sorry to all vendors that I pestered for screen prices over the last few weeks,

But I found one on Ebay that was Local to where I work.

OK, it is Beige (but paint or Vinyl dye will sort that).
And non-Touch (but Armin can sort that, ready for some UK business Armin?)

And it only does 640x480, but I guess I will have to use MediaEngine, instead of eJukebox (which is a shame because I paid for it, because of it Database/stats features that improve random play).

Feels nice to know I've gone VGA instead of composite.

I mailed the vendor. They said, no. Only 640x480. Don't if they had tried in the past or not. Of course if it does, it is a bonus.

Although a Lot of TFT panels (especially older ones) are fixed to a series, or single resolution, and can't change it and keep a pin sharp image like they can at the resolution they are men't to be used at.

Well, the case is a bit bigger than I thought, and there is a black band inside the bezel. before you see the display itself (makes the display area look bigger than it really is until you switch it on..

Wonder if I can totally decase it, and find a way to get it into the saab centre console.

I've got the Taxan CV625TCO95-S 12.1inch screen at home. Its a bit too big to go in the dash and at 65nits ain't worth it anyway

Did fit a Samsung 152T 450nit screen as part of the boot install though

    This is a 10.2" 150nit screen.
I should imagine behind the tinted glass of the car with "Normal" UK weather, where I hope to mount it, shouldn't have too many probs.
