how do you power your dscustoms or wwdigital screen?

Hi Folks - I was wondering how you power your wwdigital or dscustoms 7" touchscreen? I tried searching - but apart from the opus thread i found nothing obvious to my very untrained eye.
    Thanks in advance,
    P.

Any good 12V source will work. If u have an inverter, you can use the supplied AC/DC adapter. Or, you could plug it into a free 12V DC car socket. Or, you could use the yellow/black 12V leads from the PSU (Preferred).

I power my lcd through the power wire of my head unit since it is so close. You can also wire the lcd straight to the battery.

I thought there was issues that the unregulated voltage from the car power causes flickers..

    Is this true?

Yeah, its always a good idea to use a fuse. The wiring going to the head unit is fused already but if you wire it straight to the battery its a good idea to use a fuse.
