This is a good idea of attaching the screens. Easy to detach, in case you leave your car in a dangerous area. Thanks, man, most likely I'll try one of these.

P.S. As answer to your post, I personally think the product from the first link should/will work. The second one has the list of the items that will fit, so I'm not so sure about that one.

I made a similar mount to go in the Saab for a recased 7" console screen.

I based it on the mounts on show at Dashmount.co.uk Clipped round a vertical vent with one screw to fix it solid. then I used a small speaker brakcet with ball adjustment from Maplin to actually fasten the screen to.
    4x4 in a turbo stylee.

both links are from the same site. the site uses frames that have a different url but its basicly the same product. Actually 2 products. the vent clip and then the mount that goes on the clip for what ever your trying to put on it, different mounts for cell phones, pda, etc.
the second link is the mount that attatches to the vent clip for a nav screen.

i think i may go this route too, even it it dosent fit correctly at first it looks simple enough to MAKE it fit. just wanted to run it by you guys first to see if anyone has used one already or not.

I bet the screens will wobble while your driving. The mount kit that came with the Xenarc does that and I am currently trying to figure out a better way to mount it in limited space.

Velcro may be a cheap temp solution, but i've used it in the past in my car and it does tend to wobble a little if the item has some weight to it.
Im hoping what ever i end up doing dosent wobble, its a big concern of mine
