I think Staples carries them (or at least they used to). CompUSA definately has them.
Okay, I am going to install everything this weekend. I am doing everything other then the making of the new dash, which a local shop is doing. I am going to have them run the VGA/power for the LCD as well because I don't want to mess with the dash ATM. Where can I get a VGA extention? What types of stores carry them locally (We have your normal computer stores..) or online that I could get fast?
Thanks.

i bought mine off ebay
92 Taurus SHO - Daily driver - Epia M10000 80GB 512mb 7" touchscreen, Opus PSU etc
93 Black SHO - 30mpg cruiser
90 Silver SHO - 419whp fun/project car, CarPC to come (for tuning)
i called every local shop i have around me which was 11. and see if they had it. 4 for of them had 20ft ext. that is plenty for almost all car. my cost $25 which is good back then because i wanted it same day. so good luck calling around.
I got mine at altex, local computer/cabling store. 15.00 for 10' high resolution. I've seen them on eBay for 9.00 delivered. I didn't want to wait.

you can get them at bestbuy or office max for 8.99 i just bought 2 last night.
You also may need a serial extension cable too if you have a touch screen.

I made a VGA extention with shielded CAT5 network cable. Its about 10metres long. No distortion in the screen till I put it into 1600x1200.
RGB pairs for RGB signal/gnd's the brown pair for H+V sync and the shield for sync gnd.
Or a USB extentionOriginally Posted by liquid_smoke
