    The above link is my consolidation of lots of good info I found on the web, plus my own tweaks and fixes.
    I wanted a fairly cheap way to get my car's existing RGBS LCD Navigation system to accept composite video inputs.
    As a bonus, the solution also adds a TV tuner.
