taytay, let me just put it this way.. i did mine myself and it cost me around $30

If you've got the time its always the best option. Put it this way you can have several attempts if required at getting it right and still come in loads cheaper

how about you write a little guide about how to fix center console?
(the screen you are using and it dimentions, what tuff do you need to make this modification and things like that) - Please?

well, i've got a xenarc 700tsv
I put doublestick on the sides of the screen, and it fits perfectly right here w/barely any modification to the inside of the dash.. there's a couple little places you have to trim, but that's it

I took some wire screen door material, and shaped it to the desired size and shape, then put some fiberglass on it

next, i fiberglassed it to the center console and trimmed the excess

bondo, resin, sand, etc

cut area for screen

sand and bondo more

and it ended up like this





the center console just sits in front of the screen

Just how I wannet it to be.

Now there are some things I am wondering about.
What do you have in the box over LCD? (can you take a closer picture?)
and what do you have in the box infront of passenger seats? (can you take a closer picture?)

in the sunglass holder, i have an apex-i S-AFC, it's a fuel controller... it's fairly worthless on this car because the ecu will adapt to the settings, and compensate for them I plan on getting an apex-i powerFC standalone ecu fairly soon and yanking out the AFC

I have my computer in the glovebox.

I used to have a cappuccino type pc in there,

but have replaced it w/an epia-m setup

Yeah, but my primary concern is that I only have one center console, so if I mess that up I have to buy another...and so on

I guess I could practice a lot and then eventually get it right - or I could just pay someone to do it right the first time It's like computers. I do all that work myself because I know it, but others would be willing to pay me a lot to do it for them because it's like magic to them. Fiberglass is my magic - I don't know the first thing about it But then again, looking at the pics above makes it look pretty doable - that turned out really nice.

taytay... you can always try making something else out of fiberglass... just to play around with and get some practice.
