We should be using the sun to harness more power than we are now.
    It's free and readily available.

Low on pollution and we won't run out of it until or sun engulfs us.

This item was never addressed.... and I was kind of curious out this myself... has anybody successfully solved this issue. I have seen that in the following link http://www.tmz.com/wrx/lilliputLCD.html that it gives us a detailed guide on what does what. (Trust me this saved my @$$!!!) I am thinking that you could short out pins 8 & 9 on the board where th buttons are at and that may successfully accomplish this feat... but I just fixed my lilliput and I have absolutely no plans of opening it again... so I ask has anybody figured this one out and will it work?

    IR Turn on?

What about making a small IR transmitter circuit to turn it on? A little circuit that when it gets 12V input it emulates the IR remote turn on command. It would have to be mounted somewhere within view of the screen.

Actually, I stayed completely on the subject, please not the that I am simply re-addressing one of the questions in the original post. And since this particular subject was not active for a few weeks, I re-addressed that question but got a completely different answer than I expected.

So I'll just ask the question again... has anybody successfully shorted out pins on the control bar so that the blue led's on the lilliput screen stay on when the screen has power.

    Thanks.

DON'T SHORT PINS 8 AND 9 - that will just tie Vcc to Ground, your classic power to ground short. Smoke city!

To keep the Blue LEDs on all the time, you short pin 12 to pin 8. The Blue LEDs have Vcc (should be +5V if I remember correctly) all the time, only when pin 12 is tied to ground will the LEDs turn on.

    OK, dumb question time.

Can someone show me or post a picture of the blue LED's and what do they do?

I need to decide on a screen.
