    pocket pc lcd view angle problem

    hi i just got an cassiopeia e-125 pocket pc from a friend who bought it in a garage sell...
    the view angle is messd up the screen is only visible when you hold the pocket pc and look at it from the top.... if you look at strait at the screen it's all white.
    who can i fix that or how does these screen work ?
    Apple Ipod 20gig 4th gen black and white. Saves you lots of time. and a pocketpc with wifi for the ocasional email cheking and mapping at a hotspot.

    Assuming the backlight(s) are working correctly, it may have a film over the LCD which limits the viewing angle, can't think of the name of it right now ...

    But if thats the case its as simple as removing it from the LCD. Which in actual practice may not be that simple depending on how the device was made.

    I actually have some of this film sitting next to me. It came from the last LCD I bought. The stuff I had limited the angle to 30 degrees above and to the left. I think you could also turn it around get the reverse angle. Once removed from the LCD I could see a clear image straight on and to all sides. Just not to extreme angles.

    If this is not the case, you may be able to add this stuff to achieve the angle your looking for. I'll edit when I think of the name I'm sure someone will come remnd me though

    i can see a film ontop of the screen but how do i take it off ? it seems to be glued on the screen. what could i use ?

    :-( just broke the screen ...
    whle trying to remove the fim ontop of the screen i boke a smalll part of the screens glass and now it doesn't show anything anymore
