    Hmm, well, don't know about that, but you sure can have stuff displayed on your windshield. Well, actually it's more like you can have a transparent LCD. Basically it's an LCD. That's it - no backlight, nothing behind it. An LCD by itself looks just like a piece of slightly dark glass. I have one and I was thinking about doing this, although it won't work all that great at night.

    But I was curious as to how the law is worded that makes putting a screen in your steering wheel.
    Any Car/Truck/SUV built after 1998 is REQUIRED by Federal law to have duel front airbags. It's not the fact that there is an LCD there as much as that there isn't an airbag there. I was watching Tactical To Practical last night and they spoke about airbags in helicopters and talked about this very law.

    hwtc2002 yours wouldn't be a problem in most states provided you have a safety switch to shut the LCD down while the parking brake is off. Without the switch you wont pass inspection in MOST states. Places like Kansas that don't have inspection it wouldn't be a problem.

    For car horn shortcut just make a icon on the desktop and try to double click it instead of using the tedious start > programs > accessories > horn
    Maybe harder to operate the horn whilest trying to swerve at the person your honking at.. Just an opinion

    Here's another one:

    Private Sub Screen_Click()
    Call horn()
    End Sub

    HA, you can just put another momentary button for the horn. Some things should not be computer controller.
    Mine needs to be updated.

    This is getting like those audio drag races where people put insanely loud sound systems in their cars with dozens of amps, alternators, speakers, etc. The sound is so loud it can mess up your head and make you . If they blow the windshield out it is considered a good thing and a sign of extreme power.

    Maybe they can have video drag races as well as audio drag races. They could put LCD panels everywhere and use carbon arc lamps for the backlight. Everyone would have to wear a welding mask and sunscreen lotion. If they melt the windsheild and instantly turn all nearby combustable material into ash that could be considered a good thing and a sign of extreme power.

    On a similar note they could have neon/LED drag races..... nevermind
