    Lilliput backlight inverter

Could someone please tell me what type of inverter the new Lilliputs use? If you can take a picture, that would be great! I want to change out the inverter when I get mine and put in a dimming inverter. I guess what I need to see are the connectors to the bulb and the lcd controller.
    Thanks in advance!!!

IIRC, the inverter is integrated into one of the main circuit boards in the Lilliput, ie it isn't on a separate PCB. Somone posted a pic in this thread but the link appears to be down.

The inverter itself is always separate (in my experience anyway). This is to isolate the heat and high voltages from the main video board. I had seen that thread when it was working and it didn't have the pics I was looking for. I think I found the info I need from the Hitachi website. Our lcd panel probably uses their INVC572A inverter unless Lilliput decided to use something else. If it is the INVC572A, then it does have the capability to dim, it just needs some exploiting!

I would love to see some pics to be sure, or if someone can just read off the model number off the inverter.

edit: I rechecked that picture and I might have to say that I'm dead wrong. It sure does look like the inverter is built in. What a load of tree-hugging, money-saving, hippy crap! This will be the first time I have ever seen it this way. I PMed the guy to verify.
