    Lilliput Screen Res

I've seen a number of posts about this, and most of them say to do a search in the archive and you'll find the info. Well I've done that search and I can't find it. I've got a Lilliput display that I'm trying to hook up to a Via Eden Nemiah 1000 mobo. I can't seem to get it to work at 1024x768, only 800x600 (both tried at 60hz) the result at 1024x768 is an OverRes warning or some such. Also I've heard people say that this display is actually 800x483 or some such thing, and I can't seem to make that happen (and yes I've tried Power Strip)

So, as anyone got it working with this Motherboard at 1024x768? If so how? Secondly as anyone got it working at that other res, and if so can you post the INF file you used for the monitor?

    thank you so much!

    Gremlin,

Building his third car computer, this one going in the motorhome, and if it all works well into his Subaru as well!

Sorry I don't believe you have searched properly as I know full well that I've posted quite a few messages with info about the lilliput in them

Try searching with words such as Lilliput, Native & resolution, or if that doesn't work try this link.

Received my lilliput from the ebay guy !!!!

The lilliput VGA screen WILL display using powerstrip any resolution that has vertical pixel counts of 480,600 or 768.

    Anyway more info on link.

    I guess I'll ask again...

Thanks for the input NJay but that turns out to be useless in the Nemiah M1000 board. I can't get power strip to show the custom timings, and whenever I pick 1024x768@60hz it says "Over Range" just like it did with the regular display control panel.

So again, am I stuck at 800x600 or can I run 1024x768 on this display with this board?

    thank you!

have you tried turning the monitor off when it says overscan and then turn it back on. I found this was the only way i could get it to show anything other than 800x600

IMHO, I really wouldn't bother with 1024x768 or 1024x600 as the native panel resolution is 800x480 pixels and hence some blurring occurs at higher/lower resolutions.

800x600 does blur the vertical pixels due to trying to map 600 pixels onto 480 physical ones but human eyes aren't as picky in this plane so its not as noticable.

Oh can you try changing the refresh rate to 72 or 85hz as these worked for me as well as the 60hz

    NJay,

What mobo are you using? I have the m10000 with the VIA/S3G CLE266 video adapter (as reported by PowerStrip 3.47). However, under Display Profiles/Configure my "Advanced Timing Options" is greyed out. I've been able to adjust to the standard timings/resolutions, but would like to play around with some of the settings you posted in the other thread.

Do you have the same video adapter?

    thx
    MikeH
