Here you go. The horrible photoshop job at the top is an alternate location I'm considering but I don't really like the location (too obvious when I'm driving).

I'm not really concerned with depth...I only need 8.5" and I'm sure I can get that one way or another.

Any updates on this? I would also like a approx 5inch widescreen VGA - i'm about to settle for an Alpine composite lcd...

There are plenty of composite 5inch widescreens around in "brand name" models, but will these make the cut for a car pc?

Not to a vga standard D socket, as yet I have not got anything I can try it out on I have a Mercury PVCLE266M-L board that has standard video onboard. I picked it up at a computer show for next to nothing some time ago (pro 1500+ onboard processor thats a via C3 Samuai processor clocked to 1500) so i am trying to make my mind up to either get a pci S-video out video card or change the board for a Epia one.
