Anyone try this indash xga lcd?

Seems kinda cheap since it is only 800x600 and no touchscreen, just wondering if anyone owns this.

Havn't tried it but the big "Warning don't supply more then 12Volts to this monitor" worries me my cars will have 12.8 to 13.5 volts.

Yeah I noticed that for all their products, I bought a screen from them...no problem in the car. I guess it is just to "cover their ***" as your plug in the car is suppose to be 12V.

I don't get it. The ad says 800x600... but then in the specs it only mentions an RCA connector. Please correct me if i'm wrong, but you can't cram that much rez through composite video. Is it BS?? or what?

Looks like a lamer site to me just bashing the guy, he's got over 4900 unique positives and only 200 negatives...not bad of a track record if you ask me!

Trust me, reseller ratings are much more dependable than eBay feedback.

just about every lcd won't be happy with more than 12v ... this is where voltage regulators or car adapters enter.

such a warning shouldn't worry you ... it's quite normal.
