Have you gotten this to work with Gentoo? All the drivers I've seen are binary only. Thanks.

Here's an updated link:

They have Linux drivers but I'm pretty sure they're binary only. So that means unless you have the specific distro that they made it for (i.e. Redhat 9.0) you're out of luck.

I am in the process of writing them for the 2.6 kernel. They will be open source of course.
I already have userspace code to talk with the touchscreen, so the only trick is making that into a kernel module. If all goes well, it will be done in about a week or two.
If you want to drop me a note, I will email you when I finish. tomh at yourmom dot sh.

Just a quick update-
After about 100 kernel panics, I finally have a kernel module that talks to the lilliput touchscreen. Now I just have to hook that into the linux input subsystem, write a few ioctl, and I will be done. It should be all downhill from here. (still might take a week or two with school and all)
For those of you waiting for the driver, it will be a 2.6 driver only.
Anyways, I will post again when I have a driver for you all to try out.

I, as I'm sure many others, will be eternally grateful if you can get this done. Thanks so much for the effort.

The drivers from eGalax for fc2 will work with Gentoo with little tweaking.
