Where am I supposed to get my screen fixed?

So about 6 months ago I decided it would be a good idea to put a pc in the car. And if I was to do it, might as well do it right. I bought my little pc and all the goodies that come with it. Of course I would have a touchscreen monitor. So I bought one from dscustoms.com for $450. I got the monitor and it worked perfectly in the house. I wanted a custom look so I decided to mold it to the dash. Yes I know this would void the warranty but im good with electronics so...crossed my fingers and got started. When the job was done, I tested everything again inside the house. Worked great! So now all that was left was to put the dash back in the 6. Had my pc in the trunk, all the wires connected to the pc and monitor. I checked the instructions again to make sure I had everything right. All that was left was to hook up the B+ to the monitor. Did that and.....nothing. Hmm...checked the wires again. Did everything right. Tried again, and still nothing. Took the dash out again, brought back inside the house and checked with the original power supply. Nothing...I took apart the plug to the monitor and guess what? I reversed the polarity. Or I should say, the instructions that were included with the screen were wrong. I emailed dscustoms three times before I got a reply. They said that some of the plugs that came with the monitor were labeled wrong. And that I should have checked with a multimeter to make sure. I thought that meant to make sure I had the right wire coming from the battery. Anyway, I really didnt care. I just wanted to get my monitor fixed, even if I had to pay a little to get it done. I forget to mention that my fiance tried to help me by emailing them herself and they said that they had problems with those monitors and they stoped selling them 6 months ago. Mind you I bought mine in august. So they shouldnt have sold it to me. So basically dscustoms.com just told me to check with the manufacturer and see if they could help because they dont fix those monitors anymore. Well I contacted xenarc.com and they said they wouldnt fix anything sold by dscustoms. Kinda funny considering dscustoms claimed an 18 month manufacturer warranty for the xenarc screen. I realize some of this was my fault and I accept that. All I really wanted was to get this thing fixed. Someone on this board said the part to fix this monitor costs $60. Well dscustoms wont return any of my emails anymore, so im basically out 450. I just cant get anyone to sell me the part. Well I guess thats one company I wont be doing business with anymore.

That is because Xenarc is not the manufacturer of those screens. They are merely a reseller.

The manufacturer of those screens is www.gain.com.tw

That statement on the website is because Xenarc pays big money for it to be there. If Xenarc won't service your screen I suggest you call Gain.

Ouch. That hurts. Sorry to hear about your troubles. You may try an electronics repair shop in your area.
