Judging by the description they have 921600 pixels which is 640xRGBx480 native res. I guess since the description says 1024x768 that they can scale to that if necessary.
Any of you guys know any more???

i think that's a mistake... it's definately not widescreen

Yeah, its a cut paste error I think Electronicar has used his 7in lilliput screen page layout as the basis.
If you look the extras are the same as the 7in widescreen i.e the video cable piccy has a 15pin D-connector yet the 8in screen has a DVI connector

Does anyone have one of these... Are they any good? I was thinking of a 7" but I might go with this since its that much bigger and not much more..
I ordered these from Lilliput to try out. They will ship them right after the Chinese New Year (Feb. 5th). The LCD panel is Hitachi 800x600 but they wouldn't tell me the model #after I asked twice. I guess I'll have to wait to take it apart when I get them. Hopefully it will have fewer bugs then the 7".

i'm sticking with the 7" becuase it fits in the indash enclosures. (tm-701L) if there was some sort of in dash enclosure for this screen, then i would probably splurge and get it and get the enclosure.. but i dont think there is such a thing yet. but looks good none-the-less

The panel you say is 800x600 yet the pixel count according to electronicar is supposedly 921600 i.e 640xRGBx480
