2003 WRX has Auto AC? I thought only my STi did????
I'm running MediaCar with Scorpion skin... I like it as the skin is relatively dark, and I drive a lot in the dark so its not too bright...
Its a Lilliput screen, in its original casing but with the button part 'removed'...
(dont ask me which type)
I used a couple of metal clips to keep it in place... The clips are connected to two screws from the airco controls... It'll be more clear after some photo's![]()
2003 WRX has Auto AC? I thought only my STi did????
Its a bit weird, I thought only the 'special' WRX/STi edition had Auto AC... But when I got mine I was pleased to find it, I love it (I ordered a 'normal' edition)... So not sure if its 'standard' on all WRX-2003 models, but mine sure as hell has it
Only gets a bit out of whack when I drive out a garage where its 20c and get outside where its 4c... Sometimes it'll get a bit cold for a few minutes in the car... After which it 'over compensates' and makes it hot for a few mins... Although it seems to get less (does it 'learn' how to heat the car?)...
I can't tell you, I've been driving in <0C the past couple of days.
Do you have a US model or Canadian model?
Do you have a temp display? Mines in F.
hey guys,
this is a quick sketch of what i'm having TAP plastic cut up for me to use as an adapter plate. Basically a 3/8th hunk o' plastic with a 6x3.6 (viewable dimension of the lilliput) square hole all the way through. From the backside, I asked them to mill out a 6.5x4.125 hole .4375 deep. Also added a groove for the bezel frame to fit so the plastic is flush.
ARGH DAMN IT WON'T ATTACH!
I guess all you people are going for no head unit.
Or if you do, you can always mount it in the time pod.
I'm putting boost gauges up there, so I'm getting flipout.
Yeah, I'm putting it in the old clock location. If only there were a decent FM card plus easy volume control interface, I'd just get rid of my HU completely and just plug the cables straight into an amp.
