Touchscreen not working for my new Lilliput!

I just gotten my lilliput two days ago, and finally hooked it up to test out the features. I plugged the usb plug into my computer and windows xp prompted me to install the drivers for the new usb device that was found so I installed the software/drivers for the touchscreen from the mini disc that came with it. After the software was installed a good reboot was need and after I rebooted I ran the touchscreen software. It found the device and drivers, so I tried to do the 4 point calabration. My touchscreen overlay was not responsive when I touched it! Did I recieve a defected lcd or did I not install the drivers/software correctly? Please help!

Run system restore to before you installed this... then unplug your usb cable. Hook up a normal mouse and go back into windows. run the install from the mini disc and then plug the usb cable in again. Let it install.... then if it needs to be directed anywhere try directing it to the X:\feel screen\win2000_xp (X: is whatever your optical drive is)

If that doesn't work.... I'm out of suggestions!!!

    Good luck
New CarPC on the way again I think. I miss my old one!!!

Have you tried anything I have mentioned? Its probably a driver issue, at least when I had the exact same problem it was!!! Also you may want to crack open the lilliput and ensure that the touchscreen is plugged in!!!

I've got one. It doesn't seem to work unless you use your nail of the stylus. If you get it working with your finger give me a shout because I haven't installed mine yet.

Hi. You can get super quality 7" Touchscreen Monitors from a company called www.car-comp.com. They are better than the Lilliput but more expensive. They are based in Switzerland so the shipping shouldn´t be too bad for Europe.

I had this problem on my primary PC. I think you will have to system restore back to the point before you installed the driver.

I went to another of my WinXP pc and installed the WIN98 touchscreen drivers and software. It then worked perfectly.

I tried removing and everything on my primary winXP pc (i dont have system restore enabled on my primary) and installing the drivers from scratch again, but it wont work.

But hey, if you wanna sell your faulty(?) lilliput, let me know. I may take it off your hands if its cheap. I live in South East Asia.

Just a thought, I'm sure you have probably already covered this yourself... but.....

When I connected my Lilly Touch screen, it disabled the onboard mouse (i connected to a laptop, and lost the nipple mouse)

I had to go into the BIOS and choose SIMULTANEOUS with regard to multiple mice.

    Maybe this is your problem?
Maybe the PC is only going to see one mouse (you know the actual touchscreen function is just seen as a USB/PS2 mousedont you?) and the one it is seeing is your existing one

Anyway, try setting the mouse to Simultaneous and see how you go

    Hope that helps.
