Lilliput Has Jurassic Park image on it!

hi all, my first post!

So I ordered a lilliput 7" tft from Hong Kong and was greatly suprised when it not only turned up, but worked perfectly! The screen is absolutely great but...

say if i restart windows, and the screen looses the vga input from the mobo, it then displays the jurassic park logo

this kind of gets brighter until it gets the video signal back from the computer.
Has anyone else seen anything like this? or know how i could remove (or better customise) this image?

I don't know anything about this, but it's apparently been covered n here many times. Do a search of the board. I didn't even need to search - a few links appeared in the related messages below your post.

That is a "test image" on the controller for the display.

As has been said, it has been discussed here MANY times!

Heh I gotta search for those threads.

But honestly, I wouldnt buy it for that reason. I want something perfectly clean.

You are right that it has been discusses over and over and over again. A simple search on this forum will provide answers.

I think you are mistaken about the Jurrasic Park logo being a test image. Now if you did a search on this board you will find a link to the pachinko game stations that have jurrasic park on them. They use a 7" lcd screen. Lilliput has allegedly admited to buying the lcd screens from the pachinko game stations.
