    mounting in a camaro

hey i was gonna ask everyone else out there ... i notice when people mount they always angle it ... i was thinking of NOT doing that .... just keeping it flush ... so that way i could mount it inside where the stereo/hvac where.

Does that work fine not angling it (cause in the camaro one does sit a LOT lower than most of your guys cars) or is it something u have to do?

Anyone else mount in a camaro (its a 99 btw)

I got this picture off cardomain. It's supposed to be the interior of 1999 Camaro. Is this what your's looks like? Where are you planning on relocating the HVAC controls to?

The dimensions of the Xenarc screen are 7.75W x 4.75H x 1.38D. You'd have to measure to be sure, but I'm pretty posetive that removing the radio and the piece of trim between the radio slot and the HVAC controls will give you plenty of room for the screen. You'd just have to do some finishing work to make it look clean.

As far as the glove box is concerned, that's actually where my computer is in my Camaro. It depends on what kind of hardware you're going to use, but the glove box is a pretty good spot to mount an Epia, HDD and some other hardware in a Camaro. You can see my install using the links in my signature.
